This binding offers a DIN range of 4–13, giving a wide span of release settings that suit both intermediate skiers and more aggressive riders. Weighing in at 1,350 grams per pair, it strikes a balance between stability at high speeds and manageable swing weight when you’re charging through powder or making quick turns.

The DIN value indicates the release force setting of the binding: a lower number means the binding will release more easily in a fall, reducing injury risk, while a higher number holds the boot more firmly for powerful skiing. The Atomic Warden 13 MN R lets you use a top binding on rental skis. It combines the strength and precision you need on piste with the smooth progressive power transfer you need in deeper snow. Multi Norm certified, this binding works with all ISO norm ski boot soles – DIN, Touring and Walk To Ride (WTR). It’s a great match for both all-mountain and backcountry skiing. It has an Oversized Platform and U-Power Toe – a super-wide platform that provides maximum lateral power transmission plus precise steering, natural flex and strong dampening. It’s also 30% wider than comparable bindings so it works well with progressive wider skis. Finally, it has self-retracting Elevated Brakes that eliminate hang-ups on switch landings.
