The Robens Outback Windscreen is designed to shield your campsite from gusts, creating a cozier cooking or relaxation area when the wind picks up. Its 500 cm width and 140 cm height wrap around stoves, tables or seating spots without hiding the view of your surroundings.
Made from HydroTex Polycotton – a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton – this windscreen delivers a balance of durability and breathability. The generous coverage helps keep out drafts, and when it’s time to move on it packs down to 65 × 13 cm. At 6.9 kg, it’s heavier than a simple tarp but built to stand up to regular use on the trail.
HydroTex Polycotton combines the strength and quick-drying nature of polyester with the comfort and airflow of cotton. This means you get a sturdy barrier against wind that still allows air to circulate, helping the space feel less stuffy.

Robens says about the Outback Windscreen
The 5m three-panel polycotton Outback Windscreen provides privacy and side protection from wind. It stands 140cm high and features a split pole sleeve that allows the bottom of the screen to be rolled up to add a 27cm gap when required to aid ground-level air flow or account for ground conditions. Remove the lower 30cm pole section to reduce the overall height of the windscreen if environment dictates, or to provide views when sitting.
